COVD 19
Even though Covid 19 "lock down" measures are slowly being relaxed, the current social distancing advice is not compatible to my workshops. Being held in my country kitchen they have always been (and will be) very personal and hands on. STAY SAFE and hope to see you soon. Residential holiday courses.
We also offer residential holiday courses specialising in traditional country recipes with many vegetarian and seafood dishes as well as our signature wild game pots. These run simultaneously with our riding and carriage driving workshops, so this is an ideal holiday activity for families or groups with varying interests. Enjoy a day workshop and feast on the fruits of your labour!A fun packed day, starting at around 10 a.m. with a relaxed cup of coffee and cake. Then it’s off to the local fish market to soak up the atmosphere and see the freshest of fish. Cannot stay long as back at the farm there is plenty to do. So roll up your sleeves and grab an apron – this is hands on!
The day finishes around 4.30p.m. after sitting down to enjoy the dishes that you have prepared and cooked. As we use mainly our own harvests or locally sourced ingredients the menu for each workshop is individually planned a few days in advanced (dietary requirements can be catered for) but you can expect the following:-
Not available Sundays and Mondays. Usual group size can be 1 to 4 participants, for groups of more than 4 people we might have to split you up for parts of the workshop when you will be offered the opportunity to go on a carriage drive in the National Park. We can arrange collection from Lagos, Aljezur and other local hotels (email us for a quote), or look at the Who and Where page for the map. Day Workshop (including meal and local wines). |
